My Pixel Family began with a creative idea from local South Bay mom Kinsley, who wanted to create something special for her two boys. She built them a custom pixel portrait as a fun and meaningful way to capture a favorite memory, and the response was incredible—friends, family, and everyone who saw it loved the unique combination of creativity, nostalgia, and personal connection.

That spark inspired Kinsley to share the joy with other families. What started as a heartfelt project for her own children grew into My Pixel Family, a family-owned business creating custom pixel portraits that families can build, display, and treasure.
